Our commitment to protecting the environment has always been an important part of our business. We take this into account with every activity on our land.
HVE (Haute Valeur Environmentale =High Environmenal Value) and VDC (Viticulture Durable en Champagne=Sustainable Winegrowing in Champagne) are two additional certifications.
HVE is a certificate issued by the Grenelle de l'Environment and has 3 levels. Our certification is for the highest level. This is based on the results in terms of biodiversity, protection of cultivated and native plants, water management and fertilization.
VDC is a certificate, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, in recognition of the environmental efforts of wine growers in Champagne. The requirements for this certificate are specific to the Champagne region.
Our activities for
the environment
To reduce the impact on the environment, we have also decided to stop printing flyers. Using paper and ink for these documents is not in line with other environmental steps we have taken. In addition, all information can be found easily and up-to-date on the website.
We are aware that our actions have consequences for nature around us. We want to keep this impact as low as possible. Generations before us have given us a love for work in conjunction with nature. We would like to keep this so that future generations can also benefit from it.
Encouraging different
new initiatives
To help young people at the start of their career to further develop, the photos for the website were made by a young graduate photographer. Five students from the Communication course help us with the next steps on social network. This is part of their thesis.
